For rocket kits with balsa parts wood or Elmers type glues are fine.
For rockets with plywood parts use epoxy glue, the longer the cure the stronger the
glue joint. For strength we use NHP180, 3hour cure epoxy.
For rockets with styrene fins use 220 grit sandpaper and roughen up the area to be glued.
Clean with alcohol to remove any debris and let dry. Use an epoxy, 5 or 12 minute will do
or Elmers Na no glue or believe it or not Elmers Pro Bond Wood Glue also works fine.
Remember fillets add the most strength to fins, gluing the root edge only will not
provide sufficient strength.
